2009 MTV Video Music Awards is coming this Sunday, September 13, 2009. Lady Gaga and Beyonce got the most number of nomination this year.

Lady Gaga is nominated for “Video of the Year,” “Best Female Video,” “Best Pop Video,” for her song “Poker Face.” She was also nominated for “Best New Artist,” and her “Paparazzi” song was nominated for “Best Art Direction,” “Best Cinematography,” “Best Direction,” and “Best Editing,” “Best Special Effects.” Lady Gaga got an amazing 9 nominations. Beyonce Knowles also got a total of 9 nominations including “Best Special Effects,” “Best Editing,” “Best Direction,” “Best Cinematography,” “Best Choreography,” “Best Art Direction,” “Video of the Year,” “Best Female Video,” and “Best Pop Video” for her hit song “Single Ladies (Put A Ring On It).”

Aside from Lady Gaga and Beyonce, Britney Spears is back. Her hit song “Circus” was nominated in all MTV VMA Professional categories except for “Best Special Effects.” Her song “Womanizer” was nominated for “Video of the Year,” and “Best Pop Video.”

Teens most loved, Miley Cyrus, got the entry for “Best Editing” for her song “7 Things.” “7 Things” is edited by none other than Jarrett Fijal.

The award winning song “Jai Ho! (You are my Destiny)” which was sung by A.R. Rahman and Pussycat Dolls is nominated for “Best Choreography” category.
