Twilight Conquered The 2009 MTV Movie Awards

Twilight won 5 from six nominations. Twilight won the Best Movie, Kristen Stewart won the Best Female Performance, Robert Pattinson won the Breakthrough Performance Male, Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson won the Best Kiss, and lastly, Cam Gigandet and Robert Pattinson won the Best Fight. The only category they didn’t get is the Best Song from a Movie. Paramore’s “Decode” was nominated but they were beaten by the popular pop rock princess – Miley Cyrus with her song “The Climb”.
MTV got the highest viewer’s rating last night compare to previous years. They reached an approximate 5.3 million viewers that night.
Though Twilight didn’t get that much attention in Oscars and other big award giving bodies, they dominated the MTV stage last night. “Twilight” fanatics from all over the world really showed their support to their beloved movie.
